Tis the season for pork!! Local friends, it’s that time of year! Our pigs are 100% Berkshires and are scheduled to go to the butcher on December 12th. They will be headed to the Meat Shop in Diamond Springs. We have 3.5 pigs left up for grabs, but they will go fast! Available in whole or half shares - expecting 280-300lbs hanging weight. Welcome to the farm, Buckwheat! 🐮
Meet our new bull calf. He’s an American Sundog and just the tiniest thing. Hes going to stay pretty small, but very stocky/beefy so he’ll be the perfect boyfriend for our girls. Can’t wait to see his babies in about 2 years!

Update:: SOLD OUT!

Pork Season is upon us! Our pork deposits are open, and we have 3.5 pigs still available!
They are available in 1/2 pig or whole pig and will be sent off to T-Bones in Auburn on October 8th.
Our pigs are 100% pure Berkshire and are fed high quality, local Bar Ale feed. Never given hormones or antibiotics and are raised in a large and open outdoor space in Shingle Springs. Berkshire pork is known for being some of the best in the world. It’s dark red meat is juicy and has amazing marbling and taste.

We have one Babydoll ram/wether lamb available. He will need to be banded in the next couple of days if no takers on keeping him intact ☺️
He is a twin, and will be dual registered with Olde English Registry and BSRA - ready to go home mid June. He’s the sweetest!

We have one more mama due with lambs in a couple of days, and then we’re done until next spring!

It’s been a fun couple of days over here! Our first set of lambs were born on Thursday! Twins! An adorable black ram lamb and a white ewe lamb. The kids are truly in love.
I was lucky enough to witness the entire process with Poppy and it was amazing! She was a rockstar, and she is such a good mama 🐑
Sister Pepper is due next week!
