🧆 The story behind Burton’s Balls starts long before the first package...
For over 25 years, I’ve lived my life in the kitchen. I’ve worked, learned, created, and watched food evolve around me. But throughout all those years, I never truly came across a meatball built the way I was taught when I was 16 years old by a very wise old Italian man who understood that a great meatball wasn’t just about throwing ingredients together.
It was about structure. Balance. Technique. Respect for the recipe. That lesson stayed with me.
I took my love for the kitchen, the knowledge I’ve gained over decades, and that old-school Italian approach to creating something of my own:
Burton’s Balls.
A meatball built from years of experience, passion, and a foundation that was taught to me long ago.
To bring this vision to life, Burton’s Balls is proudly produced at Italian Sizzle Shack, a certified kitchen already built around creating and serving quality food.
Italian Sizzle Shack has been the perfect place for Burton’s Balls to begin this journey, providing the space, resources, and environment needed to take a recipe created from years of experience and turn it into something people can enjoy in their own homes.
But this is only the beginning.
As Burton’s Balls continues to grow, the dream is to eventually have a location of its own where I can expand into even more creations and bring even more ideas from my years in the kitchen to life.
A big part of this journey is being able to share Burton’s Balls with the community, and that’s why I’m proud to be available at Zems Ice Cream.
What started as a beloved ice cream shop has grown into a true community staple, evolving into a bakery and candy shop while creating a space for local makers through their “locally made” section.
That’s where you’ll find Burton’s Balls.
From an old Italian lesson… to 25+ years in the kitchen… to your family’s table.
