SantyMo F.O.O.D. (Fine Out of the Ordinary Dinners) We give YOU what we feed our own KIDS!!!

We are Santiago & Monica, a couple who loves both eating and cooking, each one of us has a unique set of talents when it comes to the kitchen, an we compliment each other perfectly. Most of our dishes are recipes that have been in our families for generations, but we are not afraid to think outside the "recipe" box.

"EMPANADA TASTING": Definitive Update

Monica, Agustin, Ramiro and I will be opening our home in Canoga Park for our first Empanada Tasting on the 28th of January 2012 at 6:30PM

Space is very limited, so we will be asking for a $2.50 donation per person, this will not even begin to cover our costs, but at least it will reduce the no-shows :)

What will you get for your $2.50?

* 1 Beef Empanada (Baked) - Nany's recipe, (an Argentinean recipe that has been reformed for the LA palate over the past 20 years)

* 1 Chicken Empanada (Baked) - Juicy and savory (Monica outdid herself with these ones)

* 1 Vegetarian Empanada (Baked) - Though I am not a vegetarian myself I could not stop eating it.

* 1 Corn Empanada (Baked) - Adapted from Monica's grandma's recipe.

* Perhaps 1 to 3 other flavor of Empanadas (Baked).

* 1 Desert - TBD (most likely Crepes with Milk Caramel)

* Non-Alcoholic Refreshments (if you must have Alcohol BYOB)
