We got to watch our sweet mama PEACH (D12) have us a heifer calf today! But now we need your help deciding on P26’s name. We originally had PUMPKIN picked out for Peach’s calf but now that she’s here and has all these beautiful white markings, we are starting to like PATCHES. Comment below, What do you think, Pumpkin or Patches ?

The heat this year has been no joke!! We have had a hard Fall Calving Season. We have lost calves, had multiple cows miscarry, and had lots of calves come weeks early. This little miracle baby takes the cake for the smallest calf we have ever seen. He was supposed to be born in our “Winter Calving Season”, starting in late October. He was born 5 weeks early, weighing just a little over 20 lbs!! By some miracle, he survived and his mom, Rachel M40, (one of our first year heifers) is taking great care of him. He is already a week old. Welcome to the herd our little PEEWEE Phillips (P24).

After a long day at the ball field, we came home right before dark to find Dawson’s “favorite” (Macy L03) had a surprise for us, a little bull calf. Dawson said it was only fitting to name him PRIME in honor of her team’s first tournament! Everyone welcome PRIME (P19) to Kotal Farms. 💗🩵
