Up coming Clinics for horse and rider are April 1-4, and April 22-24. Improve your relationship with your horse on the ground and in the saddle, for a happy horse and a safer ride.
Schedule: Begins 4:00 pm Friday with evaluation of horse and rider. Saturday 8:00 am will start with ground work to establish respect and improve communication. Then continue to mounted work and horsemanship, building trust through knowledge, increase your comfort zone. Sunday 8:00 am will begin with review and outside work, however no one will be pushed past their ability.
Cost: $250.00 includes all 3 days dinner Friday, continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and lunch Saturday. Stall fee is $35.00 for the weekend, does not include feed or bedding. Auditors are welcome $25/day.

Having a great time at the Il Horse Fair. Thank you Gary Lane for the use of your rescue mare Katie for the fear of riding clinic in the livestock center. Come and join us today in barn 13 at noon. I will be working with 2 of Betty Horn's very nice gaited horses. Learn some new skills to help build your confidence.

Liz is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to the equine industry. I have been with her since I started when I was 8 years old. Cantrall Creek Equestrian Center was my 2nd home growing up where I learned responsibility and confidence. Elizabeth Carter worked with me thru 15 world buckles and a state saddle couldn't of done it without her. Till this day she is one of my best friends and my 2nd mom 😉
Elizabeth Carter is great, she started my mare on the trails and we have been enjoying the trails ever since. Thanks Liz!

We are so pleased that Gary accepted our invitation to return to the Springfield area adn spend two days with riders and auditors who had the opporunity to see and visit with him during the Illinois Horse Fair!

Notice: All of the rider slots are filled now but we welcome auditors! Just bring a chair and enjoy one of our nation's most helpful and informative gaited horse clinicians! This will be held in an large indoor arena so this clinic will be a go "rain or shine"!
