FINALLY!! It all started a couple months ago when Sarah our first calf heifer bagged up. That is usually a sign they are going to have a calf in a couple days. We'll days past then weeks then months and no baby. Then her bag started to shrink which led us to believe maybe she aborted the baby and we couldn't find it which happens sometimes. So we kept a close eye on her and low and behold here is her little baby boy Storm. Welcome to the herd buddy. Good job Sarah he is healthy and beautiful. Mom is doing great also.

We have located the baby! Another little girl. 🩷

Fresh hay brought Scarlett to the yard! 😆 No baby with her, but her udders are cleaned off so the calf has been nursing. Hooray! We will post some pictures when the baby makes their appearance! We have a couple more to share too, so stay tuned!

Update: We found Scarlett! She's doing well and shows evidence of nursing a calf. Thanks for all the calls and good vibes. We will post pictures of the calf soon hopefully!

Anyone have a thermal drone? We have a first time heifer that was in labor yesterday and we have not been able to find her, or a new calf. We've spent hours looking last night and this morning but have had no luck. Please call Andy at 315-408-5067 if you have one you could operate in a wooded farm pasture in Cape Vincent.

Cheers to 5 years! Thinking back to the day it all began... with just 3 ladies. Amazing how much the herd has grown and all the changes and improvements that have been made on the farm. What a journey!

Eggs don't get any fresher than this, chickens squeezed this morning. Come taste the difference in farm fresh compared to store bought. We also have farm fresh bacon, ham and sausage. Message me for pick up on meat. Eggs are out from for easy service. Thanks, SW Ranch
