A couple special loaves today. Sonnenblum Brot for German classes at CCHS. I love special orders and they make me nervous too - afraid they won’t turn out. These sure did. Beautiful, tall loaves. The other loaf is one my daughter made for a scholarship competition at U of I. They sent 3 grains - blue cornmeal, rice flour, and whole wheat. The assignment is to make a 2 week shelf stable product. She did a fantastic job with this sandwich loaf that used all three grains.
