Blackberry, white mocha, and brown sugar cinnamon, finished with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

⭐️ 10/10 ⭐️

Sarai absolutely knocked this one out of the park. The flavors were perfectly balanced, smooth, and packed with just the right amount of sweetness. Every sip tasted like a cozy blackberry cobbler in a cup without any flavor overpowering the others.

Safe to say this one is a winner, and I’d order it again in a heartbeat. 💜☕️

☕️ This morning’s stop: Nomad Nectars in Coffeen!

I tried the Salted Caramel Brownie Latte and it was an easy 10/10. 🤤

The salted caramel and brownie flavors blended perfectly with the espresso, creating a drink that was flavorful without being overly sweet or heavy. Every sip had the perfect balance of coffee and flavor.

The baristas were also incredibly friendly, which always makes the experience even better. Great coffee and great people are a hard combination to beat!

If you’re in the area, this one is definitely worth a stop. ❤️☕

☕️ Berry’s Brew with Rachel ! ☕️

Coffee runs are always better with friends, and this one did not disappoint.

✨ My Drink: Nutella Vibes — hazelnut, chocolate, and Nutella spread. I added half & half, an extra shot, and cold foam. The half & half makes the drink look a little lighter in color, but trust me, the flavor is still there!

✨ Rachel’s Drink: Nut Case — hazelnut, vanilla, pistachio cold foam, pistachio drizzle, and Nutella spread. She added 2% milk and an extra shot.

⭐️ Both drinks earned a 10/10 from us! ⭐️

This was Rachel’s first visit to Berry’s Brew and my second (yes, I was literally just here yesterday 😂), but we both agreed on one thing: this definitely won’t be our last stop.

The flavors were rich without being overwhelming, the extra shots gave both drinks the perfect coffee kick, and every sip had us saying, “Okay… this is REALLY good.”

If you’re in Staunton and looking for a local coffee shop to try, Berry’s Brew deserves a spot on your list. Safe to say they’ve gained two regulars. ☕️🤎

Drink: Cookie Butter Latte
⭐️ Rating: 10/10

This one was an easy favorite. The Cookie Butter Latte was rich, creamy, and packed with that smooth cookie butter flavor in every sip. The only thing I’d change next time is adding an extra shot of espresso for a little more coffee kick, but even as-is, it was absolutely delicious.

What really made the visit stand out was the customer service. The barista was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes a coffee shop experience that much better.

Great coffee, great people, and a shop I’ll definitely be visiting again. I can’t wait to see what I’m trying next!

☕️ Blackbird Bakery & Cafe – Staunton, IL ☕️

Today I stopped by Blackbird Bakery & Cafe and picked up an iced hazelnut latte made with half & half, along with their ham & cheese croissant.

The latte was smooth and creamy, but honestly, there was more half & half than coffee that it overpowered the coffee. The little bit of coffee flavor that did come through was really good, which makes me think this drink has a lot of potential. I’d definitely order it again, but next time I’m adding an extra shot of espresso to help balance everything out.

Hazelnut Latte: 6.5/10 ☕️

Now let’s talk about the real star of the visit… the ham & cheese croissant. 🤤

10/10. No notes.

Flaky, buttery, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. If you’re stopping by Blackbird, do yourself a favor and grab one. You won’t regret it.

Overall, I’ll definitely be back. A stronger latte and another croissant sound like a pretty perfect combination to me. 😋

As a mocha fan, I had a feeling this one would be good, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The s’mores flavor is a little different from what you’d expect, but it works so well with the espresso. Sweet, chocolatey, and just the right amount of marshmallow.

This might be one of my favorite summer menu drinks so far! 🍫🔥

I stopped by Deja Brew in Carrollton and tried the Carrot Cake Latte (espresso, spiced chai, English toffee, milk, topped with cheesecake cold foam). ☕🥕🍰

6/10 — Unfortunately, the chai completely stole the show. It wasn’t the worst chai I’ve had, but it definitely wasn’t the best either. I was hoping to pick up more of the English toffee and espresso flavors, but they got lost behind the spice. The real star of the drink was the cheesecake cold foam though — that part was absolutely delicious and added a nice creamy sweetness to every sip.

Have you ever ordered a drink that sounded amazing on paper but just didn’t quite come together in the cup? 🤔☕️
