Latino Cheesesteak Sliders 🌶️🧀
A fusion of bold Spanish spices and classic cheesesteak goodness, these sliders are a game-changer for your snack table! Perfectly cheesy, zesty, and bite-sized.
🛒Ingredients
For the Filling:
1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or flank steak) 🥩
1 green bell pepper, sliced thinly 🫑
1 medium onion, sliced 🧅
1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder 🌶️
1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack 🧀
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sliders:
12 slider buns 🍔
2 tbsp butter, melted 🧈
1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
1 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional) 🌿
👨🏽🍳Instructions
Cook the Steak Filling:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of oil, then cook the beef steak slices until browned. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the Veggies:
In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened. Add garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Toss the beef back in and mix well.
Assemble the Sliders:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half and lay the bottoms on a baking dish. Spread the steak and veggie mixture evenly over the buns. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Top and Bake:
Place the bun tops over the filling. Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and sprinkle cilantro on top. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
Serve and Enjoy:
