Not too shabby for a Friday night contest!

We headed over to The Doc in Griffin, GA this past Friday for a Steak Cookoff Association contest in steak, wings, and dessert.
Here’s what was made:
- 3 steaks (1-8th place finish) using Allquedup, Hotty Totty BBQ/SteakCrew, some , some Dead Bird BBQ - DB180 rubs and marinade, Flaps 20 Sauce and Rubs Moo Magic, that good ole Sweet Swine O Mine Wilsonshire and even a little Pendray BBQ Triple 000 steak rub! (All sourced from our own store, we are our highest paying customer actually)

- Jalapeño Pepper Jelly BBQ wings (1st place in a dead tie)
- Elotè style chicken wings (9th place)
- Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Tarts

As always, our Hasty Bake Charcoal Grills ran smooth as butter on some Royal Oak Charcoal Briquettes and our pellet grill was powered by those Royal Oak Charcoal Pellets!

Set up for the Day 1 IronMan challenge at Smoke in the Park in Glencoe, AL! BreAnna is taking her first ever attempt at competition barbecue (she’s never even practiced, y’all pray for us) and we are cooking up some pork belly, chicken, and ribs!
That Hasty Bake Charcoal Grills Legacy is running smooth on Royal Oak Charcoal all natural briquettes! We are excited to see how the runs on that pork belly!
