This weeks delivery will be Wednesday/Thursday depending on your area so get those orders in as soon as you can!
We will not be offering delivery the week of Sept. 24th.

This week we have available:
Squash
Zucchini
Okra
Cucumbers (slicing and cucumbers)
Big tomatoes (canning available too)
Small bell peppers (plants are tired, may be last week for these)
Purple muscadine grapes (VERY limited, last week for these)
Fresh eggs
Pumpkins!!

Processed food:
On cob corn (5ears a bag)
Off cob corn (qt sized)

A few Monday updates for the farm!

Our main harvester is on vacation for the rest of the month. So picking and delivering will be a bit slow and spread out for the remainder of September. That being said, we will not have delivery the week of September 21st. We will be at Tractor Supply on the 26th for everyone.

Remember, we are a small family-run farm. So when 1 person is out for the count it really affects us.

We will be offering delivery this week (Sept 14-17). Please try to get your orders in by Tuesday as we'll be delivering Wednesday/Thursday depending on your area.

Summer is holding on tight right now, but we're ready for fall here on the farm.

We're excited to announce that our PUMPKIN PATCH will be opening up on Sept. 20th!

We're expecting a lot of visitors this year since we're the biggest patch in PG. However, we still want to provide a semi-private visit for our customers. So in order to do that, there will be tickets to purchase. Just pick a date/time and spend $11.37.

This ticket is for the whole crew! No need to buy more than one!

What does this ticket include? Heres the breakdown:
A large orange pumpkin for your family valued at $10.
$1.37 to reserve your spot and credit card fees.

Each slot is 30minutes, but we're not going to rush you out. Take your time, enjoy the pumpkins. We are providing wagons and clippers to each family. Thats right, I said clippers! Here at Carry Me Back Farms we want you to really experience picking your own pumpkin, so what is better than cutting it off the vine?

So go on and pick a date, we would love to see y'all! Remember 1 orange pumpkin is included in every visit!

The farm will be closed to the public during that time for more private and intimate sessions for those getting pictures. And after pictures you can go pick some pumpkins 🎃 Pricing is $120. That covers your 30 minute private session, which comes with a digital personalized album, fully edited pictures, and warm memories to have forever. Thanks to ScholarQuest Christian Academy for having us out today for their Career Day! We had a blast talking about farming, what we do along with the other opportunities out there in agriculture.

There are so many avenues of farming out there and some we even have explored. We've grown hay, have livestock, increased our produce by 75% and our pumpkin patch is the largest in Prince George with over 7 acres. We're so thankful to live and grow here on the farm, we highly recommend it as a lasting career!

This is the last week of pur watermelon (seedless) and honeydew. Second to last for grapes!

We are all about finding ways to preserve our fresh produce on the farm. Did you know you can freeze watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe?

All you do is flash freeze it. Cut them up without the rind. Lay them flat on a pan and stick them in the freezer for 2hrs. Take it out and place them in freezer safe bags. They are great for slushies and smoothies in the fall/winter.
This is just 1 of many ways we preserve on the farm. What's your favorite way?
