In todays adventures of FAFO with kikiriki hen.. Do not recommend wrestling match! I don't think my geriatric skin on my hands can handle the abuse... Queenie is a meanie!

Ohhh i forgot.... bantams are sneaky! I found a nest. I am not that chicken lady to take away from a hen.. so she can keep them. OEGB will be available at an affordable price!

Sacrificing my shirt because I didn't have a basket and I wasn't prepared for this many eggs to collect. It was hot today and it was win for all of us. Lots of eggs and I was able to stay cool, whatever that means in AZ heat.

This warms my heart 💜 to mommas, chicks and the feral chickens all cohabitating. I know i am doing something right when chicks are protected and the juveniles are protective and in check while they all grow up together.

I was going through photos and I found my pic of Bruno! This is the rooster that started it all in June 2023. He came to us because he was the low roo at his yard so we took him in to pair him with his own ladies.
He really was a good boy! He took 1 for the team when his small flock was attacked by a few rogue dogs. I was sure he was a goner. After all the commotion settled he appeared out of no where an hour later. He lost a lot of feathers and had a skinned back. I am sure I have pics of that as well.
Needless to say.. he lost a battle to the guinea rooster in 2024. He was warned about his excessive crowing. 🫣🫪
