Some of you know that a kikiriki baby chick was victim to a king snake a few weeks ago.. we named it Snakebait.
The past few days I noticed more crying and slowing down. Sadly today lil'Snakebait passed away.
Life is like that sometimes.. it's unfair to be brought into the world, survive a traumatic incident.. then pass away.
As chicken owners do you believe you are built different because loss is real in your breeding program?
I know I am... I can tell when a baby chick cries, becomes distant, and doesn't gain weight that something is going on.
This loss was tough.. super cute little baby. We were excited to watch you grow up.
