Piggybacking off what Rachel at Butler Bakes recently posted, I wanted to share something that’s been on my mind: the recent disrespect within the small, home-based business community has been disappointing.
Unfortunately, some of our fellow business friends, Sweet Queens- Dipped Treats. & Butler Bakes, have been experiencing a lot of disrespect from other home-based, cottage businesses in the area.
I’ve personally experienced it as well. I’ve been blocked by certain businesses—not even located in Casper—seemingly because we make similar products.
So I thought this was a good opportunity for a reminder: going out of your way to tear down, exclude, or hurt someone else’s business will never make your own business blossom. 🌸✔️
