Kitchen Social Meals-to-Go is a meal prep service in Casper, WY where you can purchase fresh, healthy, fully prepared meals that are ready to be cooked and are also freezer-friendly. Meals can be picked-up at our location at 1st & Beverly or delivered straight to your doorstep. Each of our meals are fully prepared by Karla Case, Kitchen Social Owner & Registered Dietitian. We also offer additional

treats, including dog treats!

Kitchen Social is located at 104 S. (corner of 1st & Beverly) in Casper, WY. We opened the summer of 2019 where we taught healthy eating & cooking classes. In the Fall of 2020, due to the pandemic, we had to change our business plan in order to stay afloat. This has turned out to be a strong need in our community as so many families are busy and simply don't have time to prepare and cook healthy meals. Almost all of the meals prepared at Kitchen Social contain fresh or frozen vegetables, plus whole grains, lean meat, and nutrient-dense ingredients.

TUESDAY TIP

Do you use unit pricing when you're at the grocery store? It's one of the best ways to save money!
It tells you how much you're paying per ounce, per pound, or per item. Paying attention to unit pricing can help you figure out which product is the best deal.

In the yogurt example, the 6oz container is 72¢ and the 32oz container is $1.62. The pink square tells you the unit price, or price per ounce. You'll be getting a much better deal if you buy the 32-oz yogurt, as it's only 5¢ per ounce, while the smaller container is 12¢ per ounce.

In the rice example, there are 3 different sizes: 5lb, 1lb and 2 lb, all at different prices. Looking at the unit price clearly tells you that the 5lb rice is a much better deal, at 84¢ per pound.

Most grocery stores provide this information for you. If you don't see it, then you can easily figure it out by dividing the total price by the # of ounces.
