Clean Water Matters! Especially for Growing Puppies 🐾💧

We recently installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) drinking water system at the paws4people® Foundation Puppy Development Center to help ensure their puppies and team have access to the highest quality drinking water possible.

With cold temperatures headed our way this weekend, now is a great time to take a few steps to help prevent broken pumps and frozen pipes:
📌 Disconnect and drain hoses
📌 Insulate exposed piping and backflow preventers
📌 Leave cabinets open under sinks with heat on
📌 Let a small trickle of water run in extremely cold spots
📌 Add heat tape or insulation to crawl spaces if needed
📌 Add a heat lamp or heat source to pump houses but make sure it is not too close to an item that could melt or become flammable

And of course make sure your pets are warm and protected too. 🐾

Frozen water lines and pump issues can happen fast when temperatures drop, and the last thing anyone needs is an unexpected repair in the cold.
