One thing I have learned over the years is that moving is rarely simple.

By closing day, most sellers have packed, planned, signed paperwork, handled last-minute details, and tried to keep life moving in the middle of it all.

Years ago, I had a seller come to closing after a very stressful day. She was moving out of state, taking care of her children, and doing everything she could just to get to the finish line.

The house did not get cleaned before the buyers moved in, and honestly, I understood why. Life happens.

But I also understood that the buyers were disappointed.

That experience changed something for me. Now, I make a point to have my sellers’ homes cleaned after they move out because it is one less thing they have to worry about.

Bike to work day? Yes, please! I've really enjoyed getting out with Mike and exploring Colorado by bike...even when it does sometimes result in a fall 🤕. In the end, it's always worth the sense of accomplishment and the views and I just love the natural beauty I get to be surrounded by.
