I remember growing up and going to birthday party’s and being in awe over my friends animals. Now Makayla’s friends get to go home and tell their parents all about our critters and it really fills my cup 🥹

This would NOT be your typical huge group obedience class. I’m thinking small numbers, lots of individual attention, controlled socialization, confidence building, neutrality, handling, and teaching YOU how to set your puppy up for success from the very beginning. ❤️

I want to keep this very limited so every puppy and owner actually gets the attention they deserve.

Boone and I took the day yesterday to help my in-laws butcher 71 Cornish crosses! He’s such a trooper, he sat in my Osprey pack for about 7 hours and didn’t cry at all. I fully expected my back to be sore today and it wasn’t! This is the only picture I got of the whole process I’m a little bummed but in the moment is always best. I only wish I would have pulled the girls from school for the day to join in on the work.

What I thought was the start of a bad case of pink eye ended up being a piece of grass stuck under Willow’s eyelid. Thankful it wasn’t pink eye and didn’t have to worry about it spreading to Bell and Fran but I’m sad she probably won’t be able to see out of her eye anymore. Only time will tell. She’s a good sport though and lets me give her her eye drops and loves. The first photo is the week before last and the last is from yesterday.

This is Wylie, he’s my ride or die although I think he’d trip me and runaway faster if given the chance in an emergency with something scary. He does however enjoy herding pigs, chickens, ducks and is still trying figure out if herding the goats and the cow is something he really wants to do.
Today we’re running errands in town and he was in the car before I was even ready to leave 😅
