This is my kind of weather 😻 plotting what my carport to barn structure will become. Waiting on the metal sheeting + cypress lumber to arrive, so I can get building. The herd is a bit over the horse trailer and ready for a barn. To make things more tolerable, I made a 3rd stall space for a little more division and peace in the night. It seems to have worked.

Yesterday my friend Chelsea +
Recent graduate Devin hung out at the farm.
Chelsea got my container ready to hang out in the coastal zone while Devin spent time in the woods collecting bark and then weaving and sewing bark baskets and I sifted thru stuff and continued packing up my life 💜🌈🪾🎨🌿love these 2 humans 😻

Cross country prep is in full swing! We have a truck n trailer to get us there. Monty approved 😻 yesterday johanna@acreknot came for an electric fence tutorial! Thank you Johanna 💜 so grateful for your knowledge and willingness to share it! Today the herd is getting to know electric fencing and maybe their trailer..
Here we go. County down to our June 2 departure

This land has been good to me and I have learned so much. I will miss moments like this, spring is being born and you can barely remember the depths of winter. It is truly like Birth, nothing but gratitude for what’s ahead of you. 💜

The gang was sheered last Thursday! Only needed to bundled them up for 2 cold nights. This week has been warm temps and heavy rain. Atleast 2 nights we got 4+ inches of rain. Lots of extreme flooding and damage up north and most rivers and dams locally are at flood stage. Feeling really grateful for all the sandy loam on the farm. Stay safe everyone!

Farewell, Michigan!
I’ve been waiting for what feels like a perfect time to share some news.. in the current state of the world, that moment hasn’t come.. so..
June 2, I’ll be heading back to Northern California! The farm has a new steward/ property owner!
I’m planning for the transport of my herd, cats and the worldly possessions I would rather not live without.

Likely a BIG MOVING SALE the beginning of May, stay tuned!

The new owner won’t continue with camping this year, but will likely host campers next year, sorry hip campers 😕

I’m on the hunt for the perfect 3 -4 horse gooseneck trailer with living quarters and a truck to pull it.
