Well, I’ve been off gallivanting around Europe, exploring Italy, Greece, and Croatia, eating fabulous food, making memories, and generally behaving like someone who doesn’t have an entire farm full of animals waiting for her at home. 😂🌍🍷

But as wonderful as the adventure was, I miss my Blackwater crew something fierce! ❤️🐴🐐🐄🐑🐾

There’s just something about coming home to muddy paws, furry faces, questionable barnyard behavior, and all the chaos that makes this place mine.

Of course, Julian is judging me. HARD. Apparently, abandoning one’s responsibilities to admire ancient ruins and eat pasta is completely unacceptable in his eyes. 😂

The rest of the crew seems willing to forgive me. At least that’s what I’m told. Probably because I’m the one who feeds them.

Europe was magical, but Blackwater is home. And I wouldn’t trade my beautiful, ridiculous little kingdom for anything. ❤️

Home sweet Blackwater. Where the animals are spoiled, the chaos is constant, and the judgment is free. 😂🐾. Can’t wait to be back!

HOME. ❤️

There’s just something about coming back to the farm after being away. The minute I pull in, I’m greeted by all my four-legged people who apparently have decided I’ve been gone entirely too long. 😂

I spent the evening loving on everybody, checking on my animals, soaking up the quiet, and remembering just how much I love this crazy little life I’ve built here.

And then there’s Stasiw. 🥹
My big, handsome boy has appointed himself my personal lap protector. Because obviously a woman needs a 100+ pound Anatolian/Akbash sprawled across her lap to keep her safe. 😂🐾

Dirty farm feet, dog hair, animal kisses, and a heart that is very, very full.

Yep. I’m home. And there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. ❤️
