A final note: Crazy Dave will be auctioning off all the Patch inventory, equipment, farm etc. on Saturday May 10th. It will be a sad day so please remember Charlie and Dave in your prayers. Would love to see any of our Patch families come out and support us in this final effort. You will all be in our hearts forever. We love you all so much.
To all our Patch families: I have always dreaded the day that I would have to slow down. Unfortunately that day has come. Charlie and I can no longer keep up with the demands of running the Patch. So I will be selling the farm and the business. It breaks my heart and Charlies too, but hopefully we will find a family that will continue with the Patch. We have enjoyed the past 7 years more than we ever thought possible. Mostly due to the wonderful friends and families that we have found. We love you all so much and ask that you keep us in your prayers and in your hearts as we do you. Will update you with any news as soon as we get any. FYI Update: The boss (Dave) took me out for my steak dinner tonight. It was SOOO good. I don't know which I enjoyed more, eating it or thinking of all the wonderful people who helped me get it. We had fun talking about and remembering all the fun and silly times we had with you all this season. Hey everyone, just a note to let you know, Charlie did it! She sold all the punkins and even a few of the ones Dave decorated with. What a gal. So, steakhouse here we come. LOL
Charlie is almost there, she has just 22 more punkins to sell by 6pm tomorrow. Can't believe she did this well today. Guess what she always says to me is true. Our "Patch" family are the best people in the world. Thanks for making her day so fun.
Ok. Here's the deal. Anyone who knows Charlie knows that she is great at everything she does. However I don't think she can sell all the punkins this weekend. So I have promised her a steak dinner if she sells them all. (She hasn't had a steak dinner in almost 15 years) So even though I want to win the bet, you should help her out if you can. She a wonderful person and a great best friend. She deserves to win. Thanks. Dave

Dave & Charlie have a bet! Charlie says she can get rid of all the punkins this weekend. Dave says "No Way". We have 131 punkins left and if we know Charlie she'll keep marking them down to ridiculous prices just to win. Also last chance for cookies, popcorn balls, and that delicious hot cider. Useless trivia: The largest punkin grown this year weighed in at 2032 lbs. It was grown in Napa, California by Tim Mathison in 105 days. FYI: It wasn't very pretty,but the ones at Crazy Dave's Punkin Patch are beautiful! :)

Another beautiful day at the Patch. Its a little overcast and chilly, but a perfect fall day to drink some hot cider, enjoy the country setting, and visit with friends. First day at the Patch was so fun. It's so great to see y'all every year, and to see how much our "Patch Kids" have grown and changed. Punkin Plinko was a hit! Punkins, cookies, and popcorn balls are just flying out of the shop. Hope to see more of you tomorrow.
