It's time to get your tree! The Corner Market is open until 8 PM and we've got hot cider and hot chocolate to keep you warm while you make your selection. Then you can celebrate with s'mores around the fire while we do the work to get your tree ready for you!

UPDATE: It's a Pumpkin Madness Miracle! We got a replacement high lift here just in time... giant pumpkin drop is ON, hopefully around 4:30!

A very disappointing Pumpkin Madness update: Our High Lift has malfunctioned and is no longer safe to operate. Sadly, this means we are unable to continue our Pumpkin Drop, and there will not be a Giant Pumpkin Drop at 4 p.m. today. We still have all the other Pumpkin Madness activities, including the trebuchet launches, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Toss, Wall of Spikes, Pumpkin Roadkill, and delicious pumpkin seeds!

This weekend is Pumpkin Madness, and we can't wait! In the meantime, we've started our Pumpkin Madness Sale at the Market, which is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through November 8. Pumpkins, squash, apples, corn shocks, straw bales, and mums are all 50% off! We have so many varieties of really delicious squash and pumpkins, and the price is capped at $5 each for the big ones... that is a lot of pumpkin pie, friends. (Oh, and speaking of pie, we've got a bunch of BOGO pies on sale today... they freeze great and Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRq3w4BjMko

Every November, Cox Farms celebrates Pumpkin Madness. This video captures the season finale: the giant pumpkin drop.

This Throwback Thursday, we’re swinging way back to 1990 when the first rope swing made its debut! It wasn’t much, and it kinda hurt, but MAN, was it fun!

[Image: A few kids wait their turn at the single rope swing. It is lined with straw bales. Before we had the deluxe track and field high jump landing pads to land on, we had these cubes of foam to cushion you. Before that, as seen in this photo, IT WAS JUST STRAW that every so often we would fluff up with a pitchfork.]

First, the bad news: Sadly, the Fall Festival will be closed today (Monday, October 3) due to weather. And so. much. mud. The market will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.

Now, the good news: The weather is looking SPECTACULAR for later in the week through the long weekend.

The best news: Leona had her babies, and you can come meet them starting Thursday!

[IMAGE: The lovely mama pig Leona is on her side nursing her many darling piglets. Leona is pink and black, and all of her babies are some variation on the theme, ranging from mostly pink with a spotted rump to solid black with just a few pink markings on legs and face. Weather Update: The Fall Festival will be closed on Sunday, October 2. The market is open until 10 p.m. tonight (Saturday, October 1) and then 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Throwback Thursday- Back in 2019, Leona was among the cutest of the piglets born at the Barn Slide. She is settling in again and will deliver another litter here this fall. Come see Leona this weekend at the Fall Festival- we'll be open this Saturday (9/17) and Sunday (9/18), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days (last entry one hour before closing). Tickets are limited and only available online, so buy now! https://coxfarms.com/fall-festival/fall-festival-tickets/ (In the meantime, we'll post an updated pic of Leona in the comments.)

[IMAGE: Quite possibly one of the cutest baby piglets to ever exist, Leona hams it up for the camera. At only a few weeks old in this 2019 photo, she is already full of sass! Photo shows a small pink pig covered in black spots with one black ear. She is standing on a bed of straw, looking up and directly at the camera, and the all-black head of one of her siblings is visible behind her.]

Last Smokin' Saturday of the summer is here, and it's going to be a great one! Smokin' Saturday officially runs 11 AM-3 PM, and the Corner Market will be open until 7 PM.

The smoker is already smoking away, and Patty Reese is on stage 12-2. In other news, our Cox Farmer staff corn hole tournament is kicking off soon (don't mind us, some people are just a wee bit competitive around here). Today is your last chance to visit Foamhenge for free until December, which means it is also your last chance to appreciate Foamhenge attendant Nancy's epic jokes... hayride shuttles run 1-2 PM today!

Remember real tomatoes? It’s Sunday, and that means it’s time to stock up on fresh summer produce to sustain you all week long! In addition to a stunning selection of tomatoes, we’ve got plenty of sweet corn, squash, peppers, peaches, melons, and more! The Corner Market is open until 7 PM. Treat yourself to a peach milkshake, and take home a BBQ To Go pulled pork dinner for tonight!

No words can describe this awesome madness.

“You have to live it”

You can make it happen with our premium experiences for the awesome LA TOMATINA in Spain.
🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅

It's peak tomato time at the farm, and this season's especially bountiful harvest is pushing us all to get creative. This weekend, our homegrown tomatoes are on sale for just $1.99/lb. Tomorrow (Sat, 7/30), Eric Cox will be leading a tomato canning demo 11-1, so you can learn how to process all the cheap and delicious tomatoes you take home. We donate produce to local food banks every week. If we're still drowning in tomatoes, perhaps we should consider going la Tomatina route?

It's hard to believe, but Cox Farms turns 50 this year! We are so honored to be celebrating half a century as your local tradition. We're feeling pretty old, but mostly, we're feeling grateful. What's your earliest Cox Farms memory?

Thank you for making our own personal hayride today SO MUCH FUN! 🎃🍁🍂🏚️🧙🧹 A lovely set up and gracious, helpful staff made this experience special for the whole family. That and the treats... 🍎☕🍩🍿The boys loved it so much we had to go through twice. The second time may or may not have involved a popcorn battle between the troll and the backseat hayriders. 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I just wanted to say you guys did a fantastic job on the drive thru hay ride. Lines and directions were clear, everyone had masks, displays and music were entertaining for the kids. You really made the best of a bad situation. Plus, the spaced out photo ops at the end with phone holder and sanitizer! Just brilliant. Thank you again for bringing a little bit of fall fun for my girls. 🎃👍🏻🥰
You make me proud of rural America!
Hi, we adopted two guinea pigs in March and Our girls love their Hay.... do you guys by any chance sell Timothy hay or orchard grass? I’d rather buy from a farm than store 🙂
Hoping to cash in on the BLM I see. LOL racists at their best
I just seen ur sign today BLACK LIVES DO MATTER N I WILL BE VISITING YOUR FARM VERY SOON ❤
Love you. LOVE YOU! When I feel like we are losing everything good in this country, you always restore my faith.
Wash your hands!
Please let me know when the activities will begin 🙏😀 we ready for some farm fun!!
Will you be open tomorrow?
