We use High County Meats in Raton for all our processing. Here is their price list.

Today I delivered the last 8 calves to High County Meats in Raton for slaughter until November. I usually sell 10-12 calves a year for slaughter to friends and family. This year due to Covid-19 and the panic buying that was happening at the beginning of the pandemic, I sold 32 calves for slaughter, 8 calves in November, 8 in December, 8 in January and 8 today. We work hard here at Luna Canyon Cattle Co. to put out good quality grass fed beef. Happy and healthy animals make for great tasting beef. I would like to thank everyone who purchased calves from us this year I hope you're happy with our product. Hopefully we gained a few repeat customers for years to come. We've already scheduled slaughter dates with High County Meats for next fall, 8 in November, 8 in December, 8 in January and 8 in March. If you'd like to reserve a calf for next fall you can send in a deposit and we'll put you on the schedule, a few costumers have already done so.
