Yay! We have reached 1K followers and then some!! 🤩
You guys are SO awesome.

Like whatttttt!?!??! I never in a million years would have thought this would be my life and honestly I am LOVING IT!!! I am so incredibly grateful for all the love and support I have received over the last year and a half!! It truly means the world and is what keeps me going!!

I might just sit out the new bakery cooler earlier than I planned if we can hit 1K by Friday!!!

Last week I was given the opportunity to provide dessert for Chanute’s Annual Main Street meeting, along with a few silent auction items!!

The dessert options were vanilla and chocolate cupcakes topped with a whipped like vanilla and chocolate buttercream.

Silent auction items were some sugar cookies with buttercream frosting and cinnamon rolls topped with a maple icing!

Thank you Main Street for trusting me with these desserts and auction items!

As some of you know, both my daughter and mom share a birthday , so I took it upon myself to do a cake for them this past weekend to celebrate.

Now this cake is not even close to being perfect, as this was little stressful to put together and decorate the morning of the birthday party. She did have a little lean to her that for some reason I just couldn’t fix it right but It still turned out sooo good. I know now for next time what I can do better. I love sharing my cake journey with you all as I learn so much from every single cake I do. This was my fourth cake and it definitely was a challenging one!

This was my first ever 3 layered cake as well as half chocolate and have white. This is what made this cake so challenging!! Each layer had whipped like buttercream ( which was so good ) and chocolate ganache. I definitely think for the white cake I will do something other than white chocolate ganache. It was still so good but think I need to whipped ganache fillings for the cakes next time. I think this would have definitely made this cake a lot better and a little more stable.

I am so so proud of how it turned out and I love learning and knowing exactly what I need to do for next one!!

Also, it did taste absolutely amazing!

Do we need a sneak peak!? I think YES ❗️

I have been sitting on this alllllllll summer but i just felt like it wasn’t the right time to announce as this was my first summer not working a full time job. So we took advantage of it and enjoyed all the summer things while still baking orders and going to farmers market.

Now that school is here, I think it is finally the right time and I’m so excited and nervous for this next journey. I still have a couple things to make this a 100% go but we are getting close!!!

I plan to have a soft start just to see how this goes, so be sure to keep an out. I will be ready soon!!!

And I just want to say I am so grateful for you all that this has become an option. You guys showed up for me
All summer at market so let’s do this!!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Sorry I have been a little quiet on here the last few days. Life has been busy and trying to spend as much time with my girls before school starts!
With that being said my schedule is packed full this week so I will not be accepting orders for this week or weekend as it will be my daughter’s birthday.

Be sure to come see me Tuesday at farmers market! I believe this will be my last market for the year since school will be starting but don’t worry, I have a plan in place to still bake all your favorite goodies for you weekly!
