Spring honey will be available tomorrow morning at our roadside honey stand. Excited to have 16 oz bottles this year along with 21 oz pint jars, and 2.75 lbs quart jars (limited) this year.

Collected my first swarm of the season. They were in a cherry tree, clustered around a bird’s nest. Put them in one of my top bar hives.

Beautiful morning and the girls were very active. Seeing a lot of nectar coming in. Hoping for a good crop of honey this year despite the drought we’re currently in. 🐝

Added my new Layens hive to the apiary with a hand painted barn quilt. Now to find some bees to put in it!
