Try switching up the questions you ask yourself when you’re cleaning out a space. Next time you’re stuck on an item, ask this instead:

✨Does it have a home? If it doesn’t have a specific spot where it belongs, it’s always going to be left out as clutter.

✨Does it serve my life right now? Not five years ago, and not five years in the future. Today.

✨Is it just taking up space? Your home is for you to live in, not to act as a free storage unit for things you don’t even use.

Once you change how you look at your stuff, it gets so much easier to let it go.

Here is exactly how we fixed this dresser so it actually stays neat:

In-Drawer Bins: We separated the big drawer into smaller zones so clothes don’t roll around.

Categorized Folding: Every item is folded and filed into its specific bin so nothing gets buried.

Labels: Everything is labeled by category so you (and your partner, or the babysitter) know exactly where everything belongs.

Now, it takes zero brainpower to maintain.
