Our wild, hilarious, loving and energetic beyond words baby turned FOUR today 🥹

I read somewhere that your first child is a mirror of you, but your second child - they are the version of yourself you always wished you could be. Connor says what he feels, he doesn’t shrink himself to make anyone comfortable, he carries a fire in his chest that no one will ever be able to put out. He isn’t afraid to be silly or to laugh at himself. He’s adventurous and so very spontaneous. He’s not afraid to fail and keeps trying until he succeeds.

Our family and my world changed so deeply 4 years ago thanks to this little boy - he has cracked open parts of me I didn’t know existed, and for that I will be forever grateful.

Happy birthday, Connie. Mommy loves you so much, way way more than anyone knows 🫶🏻

5.7.16 🤍 a decade with you

I dreamed of this life we’ve built together, but not just the great, picture perfect days. I dreamed I would have a partner I could weather storms with. One that would show up for me even when I didn’t know I needed them. One that would see all of me, the good, the bad, and the ugly, and still choose me. One that would grow with me through all the stages of life.

This life we’ve built together, it’s my wildest dreams and more 🤍

April Cookbook Club: “From Our Table to Yours”

Instead of picking a traditional cookbook, we got a little nostalgic and all brought family recipes to share. You know, the ones that show up at all the holidays and gatherings, the ones whose recipe cards are covered with splatters from being used so often, the ones that you have to call your aunt or grandma for their special instructions. I tried my hand at my Aunt Laurie’s Chicken Savoy and while I know I’ll never make it as good as hers, it was so fun sharing with the gals.

💛 But you can’t have cookbook club without ANY cookbook, so everyone got to take a Krafka Cookbook with them (my MILs family history in recipe form 🥰)

The tornado warning sending us to the basement for a portion of the evening was not in the plans… but a story to tell nonetheless 😂

Is it considered food noise when you see a recipe and physically can’t stop thinking about it until you make it? Asking for a friend 🙃 But if so, I think my friend suffers from that 😂
