Goodwill therapy, a massage and now back to reality!! I’ll be getting the last few does bred this evening and tomorrow morning and then…. We wait!! 🤗 🐰
I love doing all of mine at the same time so they kindle all within the same week!! It helps me track growouts better because It’s so much easier to evaluate when they’re all the same age! &&& It can really help decipher which does pair best with which bucks!!
I will say that…. taking pictures and posting consistently are the 2 HaRdEsT things for me and that’s literally what FB is!! 🤣🫣 Not because I don’t love to, but it’s so time consuming and I usually video and then have to watch them later and screenshot!!
Also, I don’t force pose!! For me, that’s part of the evaluation. I redirect a ton, but I love to see who naturally has what it takes to move forward with the least amount of opposition!!
A perfect example is…. this lilac doe vs the blue doe…. They are litter mates!
I will, however, be pulling everyone out for nail trims, posed pics and weights as soon as I’m finished pairing. I’m going to do one last evaluation before making cuts again and I’ll try to slowly post them so it drags along and I have something everyday! 🫶🏼
