A couple days late for National Farmers Day, but the truth is, one day could never adequately recognize everything farmers do. And thereโs one farmer in particular who deserves a little extra recognition from me. โค
โ๐๐โ๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ซ.โ
Those three little words donโt even begin to describe our farmer. โค๏ธ
Heโs a mechanic, veterinarian, nutritionist, agronomist, equipment operator, businessman, and problem solver. Heโs the one who can fix just about anything, figure out what went wrong, and somehow find a way to keep things moving when everything seems to be going wrong at once.
Heโs up early, works late, and carries the weight of a business that doesnโt stop for weekends, holidays, bad weather, or exhaustion. The cows still need to be fed and milked. The crops still need to be planted and harvested. Equipment still breaks. And there are always a hundred other things waiting to be done.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, heโs a husband, a dad to four kids, and a man working hard to build something that will hopefully last for more generations.
What most people donโt see are the sacrifices. The missed moments, the long days, the financial pressures, the constant decisions, and the responsibility of caring for animals, land, employees, and a family.
Farming isnโt just what he does. Itโs a life heโs committed to, even on the days when it asks more of him than seems possible.
And while Iโm proud of the farmer he is, Iโm even more proud of the man behind it all. His work ethic, determination, faith, and love for our family are things I never want to take for granted.

And Iโm incredibly proud to be doing this life alongside him. โค๏ธ๐
