• Create drama and visual depth
• Draw the eye to focal points
• Inspire conversation
• Evoke romantic or luxurious moods

Because red is highly stimulating, we use it strategically in our designs. It can define
mood, highlight key features, or transform ambiance based on tone, placement, and pairing.

Every time I travel to Old Edwards, I leave my home in Lexington, SC at 4:00am so that I am arriving at the base of the mountains by sunrise. I listen to Noah Kahan as I drive slowly through the curvy mountain roads, taking my time to really soak in the beauty around me.

Highlands quickly became one of my favorite places - one of the few towns that feels like a home away from home. Working alongside the incredible staff at Old Edwards to serve wonderful couples didn’t feel like work, it just felt right.

I know that these deeply rooted feelings of respect, love, and pure awe for the community of Old Edwards are shared by countless industry professionals. In light of the horrid news of the fire at The Farm on Monday, we are calling on all beloved industry partners to rise up in prayer over their team.

We are praying specifically for:
- Swift reconstruction of The Farm
- All OEI staff working tirelessly through this
- All couples and events affected by the damage
- All industry professionals navigating event rescheduling/cancellation

Reverence: “deep respect, admiration, and awe for something or someone”. It’s the word I keep leaning back into as I reflect on Lexi & Miller’s wedding day.

The respect I have for this couple, their God-fearing families, and utterly joyful friends is unmatched.

The awe of the Lord that caused me to cry while singing “In Christ Alone” at the First Pres Augusta ceremony resonated with every single person there.

The admiration of this wedding design - a pure reflection of the joy and beauty that radiates from the bride herself, and the roots of her Augusta, Georgia home.

I have no words to express to this couple and their families what they mean to me, and how unbelievably honored we all feel to have played a part in their beautiful wedding day.

Congratulations Lexi & Miller! Here’s to a life full of reverence for one another, all the big things, and the small things that come your way 🥂
