Do you see what I see? I noticed a dead bee hanging on a wingstem flower and took a closer look. šŸ˜® Excellent camouflage!...

If youā€™re looking for food like this honey bee, come to the Uptown Farmers Market Saturday morning. There will be plenty of parasite-free veggies, fresh bread, local meats, specialty goodies, and of course honey! See you tomorrow, friends!

People always ask what I do after the Quarter Way Inn closes for the season. This year, the first order of business is getting the bee yard here ready for a bunch of our bees to come up from North Carolina. Couldnā€™t have picked a worse time to do it šŸ„µ but sometimes thatā€™s how the weeds get whacked! Iā€™ll wait until dusk to work on the fence and level the hive stands as this heat is no joke. And of course I also have to pick my black raspberries for everybodyā€™s favorite jam!

Who is combing to the on Saturday? Weā€™ll bee there and are excited to see our sweet customers!

Thatā€™s A LOT of snow and itā€™s still falling!

Do your plants a favor and give ā€˜em a little shake! With this much snow piling up they might need a little help standing tall!

Pro tip: hood on, look down.
