The symbolism of a humble red fruit
As a coach, I thought long and hard about what truly represents me and my life experience in the world. I am naturally drawn to the fruits of Israel, part of my heritage and rich history. It has many meanings in Jewish lore and tradition. We consider it a symbol of prosperity and health. Its origin and existence is mentioned in the Bible, and long believed to be the original "forbidden fruit". The Jewish New Year symbolizes starting over and bringing a close to the previous year. For me, it is symbolized by the pomegranate which turns red in September.
Coaching is a similar process, an idea a kernel starts as an seed and with care and watering will blossom and eventually fruit into a dream, a vision and who we are.
