There is no doubt in my mind that my love of baking came from my grandmother. Growing up, I could always depend on a variety of desserts sitting on her kitchen counter, ready for the tasting. Every time we would visit, there would be a cobbler, two or three cakes, one or two pies, and even a couple of desserts in the fridge! And obviously they were all absolutely delicious! Many of the desserts t

hat I make today are her original recipes. I was a public school teacher for 12 years, and I would always bake things for my students and coworkers each year. When I decided to leave teaching, I knew it was time to try my hand at baking as a profession, not just a hobby. Baking is something that brings me great pleasure, and I love baking all desserts! From pies and tarts to cookies and cakes, from cheesecakes to pound cakes, I love them all. You name it- I’ll try it! If you need some treats, let me know!
