The aftermath of Hurricane Helene has left many in the Appalachians stranded, with limited access to resources, power, and communication. JAARS, a missionary base that specializes in remote mission work, has now began a relief effort, not only bringing water, food, fuel for generators, but also to restore hope for these folks and families in the Lord's name.
I’ve been wanting to make some Chiefs Chicken’s merch for some time, and given this situation, and the need for my home state, I’ve decided to partner with Bonfire to develop some t shirts for good.
A portion of proceeds from purchasing a shirt will go directly to JAARS, as they reach the people of Western North Carolina (the rest will go to actually printing the shirts.) You can also directly donate in the link below. In addition to your donation, please keep those affected in prayer, that they may look through the storm, the destruction, the loss of their homes, the loss of loved ones, and even through it all, may look to Christ in His glory.

Los efectos del huracán Helene ha dejado mucha gente en las montañas Appalachian sin manera de escapar, con recursos limitados a la comida, electricidad, y sin comunicación. La organización JAARS, que enfoque en los misiones a lugares difíciles para llegar, ha empezado a ayudar, no solo para entregar comida, agua, y gasolina para los generadores, pero también en restaurar la esperanza de la gente en el nombre del Señor.
Ya tengo mucho rato que quiero hacer “merch” para Chiefs Chickens, y al ver la situación, decidí hacer un trato con Bonfire para poder ayudar a la gente.
