Free Range Family Farm We are a newly established small family hobby farm in the Mid MI area. We have duroc/old spot and hampshire/duroc crosses.

We have raised chickens for a few years and have finally jumped in to our next addition dream of raising and selling feeder pigs.

This girl, this girl right here is the culprit. I candled them and quite a few will be babies soon. We have never let one of our girls hatch out their own eggs so we shall see what happens.

Well. The garden got a bit out of hand. I did what I could this evening with all the smoke in the air and heat.

I was able to get the tomato/pepper/onion beds w**ded and watered. Our watermelons are also growing vines which has never happened before, so hopefully w**ding them and watering helps them. Don’t worry I am going to w**d a section for each vine tomorrow so they have room to grow.

Of course what’s a farm without some sweaty work. We moved 100 straw bales into the shed. I’m pooped.

And of course Huey, Dewey, and Louie are growing like w**ds.

We went on vacation last week and of course had to take our boy for the Lake Michigan Sunsets. It was our first trip without him. The beach was always his favorite place to be even though he didn’t like to swim 💙 Missing you always Brutus.
