Let me put y’all on to this quick and crazy delicious dinner my kids helped me whip up. Yes, the cuts are a little irregular (kid-chef life 😅), but BABY — the flavor did NOT miss!
🛒 Ingredients
2 lbs flank steak, sliced
1 large Spanish (yellow) onion, chopped
2 medium zucchini, cut into chunks
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp ginger (fresh or ground)
1 tbsp seasoned salt
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
2–3 tsp soy sauce
🔥 Instructions
1. Heat your oil in a large skillet on high.
2. Add the sliced flank steak and cook to your preferred doneness — rare, medium rare, medium well, whatever you love.
3. Toss in the onions and sauté on high heat until they turn soft and translucent.
4. Add the zucchini and cook until tender or al dente.
5. Finish it off with 2–3 teaspoons of soy sauce, toss everything together, and let those flavors marry.
