When the client says, “Do whatever you want” for a tasting menu, it gives us as chefs the ultimate freedom to have fun, get creative, and truly play. 🌈

We loved making the trip up to Lake Norman to prepare a special evening for four friends and colleagues enjoying a few days lakeside.

We started the evening with cocktails and a beautiful charcuterie spread, then moved into a four-course premium tasting menu designed specifically for the group.

These are the evenings we love most — when we’re given the freedom to create, the setting is beautiful, and good food brings great people together.

A husband reached out wanting to do something a little different for his wife’s 40th birthday. Instead of a big party, he planned an intimate dinner with her two best friends — the women who’ve been by her side since childhood.

Three women around a table, sharing stories, laughing, reminiscing about decades of friendship, and enjoying a meal made just for them. It was one of those evenings that reminds us why we love what we do.

Getting to create the backdrop for moments like these is such a privilege. Happy 40th to an incredible woman, and cheers to friendships that only get better with time.

One of our favorite groups of the year. 🍻

To celebrate her 40th birthday, Stephanie’s friends flew in from all over the country, rented an Airbnb, and spent the weekend partying in Charlotte — where they all grew up together.

Instead of gathering at a restaurant, Stephanie wanted one evening centered around fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a meal thoughtfully prepared just for the people she loves most. It was a chance to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy incredible food without ever leaving the house.

What made it so memorable wasn’t just the menu. It was the group. Their energy was contagious, they welcomed every course with genuine excitement, and they made our entire team feel like part of the celebration.

These are the dinners we’ll remember long after the last plate is cleared. Happy 40th, Stephanie, and thank you for letting us be part of such a special weekend. 🥂

A summer milestone birthday, celebrated with family. 🦞🥂🎂

Over Fourth of July weekend, we had the privilege of creating a plated, coursed dinner highlighting local seasonal ingredients and signature summer flavors. From appetizers to the final course, each dish was thoughtfully prepared and served, allowing our guests to be fully present with their mom, the birthday girl!

We handle every detail, from sourcing and cooking to service and cleanup, so all that’s left to do is enjoy the moment. Cheers to milestone birthdays, summer evenings, and memories made one course at a time. ✨

We believe the smallest details often leave the biggest impression. From incorporating the guest of honor’s father’s handwriting into each menu to serving dinner on beloved family china, every element was chosen with intention. Hospitality, to us, is about creating space for nostalgia, celebrating family traditions, and weaving meaningful stories into every course. Those are the moments people remember long after the last bite.

The menu encompassed all of dad’s favorites: from jumbo shrimp cocktail with a Bloody Mary cocktail sauce, to filets with a chimichurri butter, to a zesty arugula salad, to roasted veggies and warm focaccia from metzgersclt. Finishing off with the coconut cake from Mommom's Bakery, LLC 💫

We loved venturing to Western North Carolina for one of our OG meal prep clients 🚗💨 We created a private chef experience to celebrate her best friend’s 40th birthday — from sourcing ingredients and curating wine pairings to cooking, service, and cleanup, we handled every detail so the group could simply relax and enjoy the evening.

The menu was thoughtfully built around the guest of honor’s favorite foods, with each course paired to complement the flavors and tell a story. Set against the backdrop of a beautiful mountain Airbnb, it was an evening filled with great wine, meaningful conversation, and a celebration of friendship.

These experiences are exactly why we love what we do. 🍷❤️

A beautiful evening on Lake Wylie celebrating 40 years of marriage, memories, and family. ✨

For this special anniversary dinner, we incorporated meaningful personal touches throughout the experience — including a recreation of the couple’s wedding carrot cake from 40 years ago and customized printed menus, designed just for them.

These are the details we love most: creating more than a meal and helping tell a family’s story through food. It was an honor to be part of such a heartfelt celebration and to witness the love, laughter, and memories shared around the table.
