🍄WELL, LOOK WHO’S GETTING FANCY!🍄

Okay, y’all. 🥹 These little mushroom cuties were my VERY FIRST attempt at decorating sugar cookies, made for a friend’s baby shower, and I couldn’t be more excited to share them with you!!

If you know me, you know I’m a little more ooey gooey, chunky, classic grandma cookie kinda girl. 😂 I tend to stick to what I know, what I love, and what I know I do well.

But sometimes you have to try something new, get a little uncomfortable, and see what happens. And guess what?! I HAD SO MUCH FUN!! 🌈

I’m so glad I took the leap because now I know I can do it, and I’d LOVE to help elevate your celebrations with custom-decorated sugar cookies! 🍪✨

Birthdays, baby showers, holidays, special occasions, or just because you want something extra cute on the dessert table… let’s make it SWEET!

Wellllll… THIS IS COOL. 🥹🍪

Apparently AI + Google have officially decided that One Dough at a Time CLT is worth talking about and, honestly… OKKKURRRR. 💁🏻‍♀️

Seeing my little bakery show up like this — with my story, my menus, my ridiculously fun cookie names, and even the words I’ve used to describe why I do what I do — is something I don’t take lightly.

ODAAT started as a dream… and somehow that dream has turned into a real little Charlotte cottage bakery, a whole lot of cookie dough, and a community that continues to show up for me. 🥹

I’m so freaking grateful for every order, every follow, every share, every vendor who has given me a table, every person who has told a friend about ODAAT, and every single person who has supported this crazy little dream of mine.

And apparently… Google knows the assignment too. 😂

If you’re new here… HI. I’m Shannon. 👋🏼
The face, baker, cookie dough enthusiast, dog lover, and slightly chaotic human behind One Dough at a Time CLT. 🍪

ODAAT is a Charlotte cottage bakery born out of sobriety, healing, a whole lot of dreaming, and the belief that sometimes you really can build a new life one dough at a time. 🤎

And if you’ve been around for a minute, you already know I don’t do boring.

That’s a job for another professional. I’m over here making the kind of desserts that you remember your grandma baking.

But underneath all the sugar, chocolate, and questionable amounts of butter, ODAAT means something really freaking special to me.

This business is part of my sobriety story.
It’s part of my healing.
It’s part of my growth.
And it’s a reminder that beautiful things can come from the messiest seasons of life.

We’re proud to partner with She Dreams In Color Foundation for Women’s mental health, the featured nonprofit for this event. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to their work to fund mental health private practices to provide reduced cost mental health therapy to marginalized women in Charlotte.
