Tiling cutting wet saw days during our home renovation. Terrazzo seems extra messy as it moves through the saw.

Big scare last September - working in the garden in the mountains and heard Lottie Dottie yelp and saw her take off, charging through plants running to the cabin. Caught up with her and saw two little bleeding punctures on her nose. Looked under the log she’d been sniffing around and saw the unmistakable head of a copperhead. We rushed her to the vet, she got antivenin, stayed overnight and recovered remarkably fast.
We called out a snake snatcher to relocate the culprit - the adult was gone but he found 6 younguns that he took with him.
To hear her tell the story she protected us from a lair of dragons. 🐉 🐕

We love barbecue. When we took our road trip around the country this summer we decided we’d check out a couple place in cities / states known for their BBQ - and in them places noted as “best of”. On our way through we tried Slaps BBQ in Kansas City and Rendezvous Charcoal Ribs in Memphis, Tennessee. They were both great! Both distinctive in their flavor and style. Plus good sides. But who did we decide was the best bbq? 🤷🏻‍♂️😘

One thing I ❤️ about Joey is eye for detail. Fitting tiles around the toilet area. Once it’s in you’ll never see any that are under the footprint or under the bottom for a few inches out - but he’ll know if they aren’t perfect!

Let there be light!! Two windows and two full glass doors added completely changed the feel of this room in this home renovation!

We work, she naps! Doors open, never even thinks of wandering off, best girl, best friend, best dog - best travel companion for two months this summer!!
Couldn’t have asked for a better little lady to cross our paths when we rescued her - or us, depends on how ya look at it 😊❤️🐕
