Whazza maddah? Did those adorable little ducklings from the farm supply store grow to be too many drakes and not enough hens? Do you need those duck hens for eggs for all your holiday cooking? And now, there’s not enough available moolah to get the laying girls you need? We know that the cost of living is just crazy right now. And we wanna help! We want you to get those ducks even if you don’t have the buckeroos!

So . . (drum roll of all those little duck feet running in your yard) we are making the salad smaller, the beans less beany, the cheddar less cheesey, the simoleons less simol, awe heck, you know what we mean, we’re gonna let you get more ducks for less – when you look at our website and notice the numbers, you can take ten lettuce leaves off of the amount we trade for each duck as long as you get four ducks, no matter what ages! So if you would normally get a nine week old duck for thirty-five clams, now she would only be twenty-five clams! Or if you would get a six week old duck for thirty celery sticks, now she would only be twenty celery sticks! And you can get any group of four or more you want. You can get a six week old, two nine week olds, and a fourteen week old. Or four six week olds. Or four fourteen week olds! Whatever you want! As long as supplies last!
Remember, we deliver within 90 minutes of Wilkes County, and we’ll make arrangements to meet up further than that.

Who doesn't love a Dutch Baby? Especially with KWF eggs, or even your own fresh duck eggs! We currently have ducks available that will begin laying in time for you to get your own eggs this holiday season! I recommend trying this recipe before, it is a good baseline for a tasty Dutch Baby. Let us know in the comments how you like it!

Preheat oven to 400F. Arrange 2 oven racks in the bottom and center of oven. Place a 10” cast iron skillet in oven on bottom rack to preheat.

These are eggnog waffle cookies! I personally am going to have to try these. I can see a lot of potential here, different flavor combinations and styles. This is a simple recipe, but something that sounds like it would be a hit for the holidays, especially for the kiddos! If you want your own fresh eggs by this holiday season, make sure to ask about our female khaki campbell's!

Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium mixing bowl. In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk eggs, eggnog and melted butter. Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet to form a sticky dough.

This is another great recipe, who doesn't love a breakfast casserole? Duck eggs would also be amazing for something like this, to pack in even more protein and vitamins! You can even add some cream cheese into casseroles like this, it adds more depth and gives a nice creamy texture.

If you want ducks laying eggs this winter, now is the time to get your Khaki Campbell hens! On the farm right now we have creches of girls who will start laying in October, November and December. It is suggested that you have a range of ages to make sure you have eggs all winter long. Feel free to message us to make arrangements for delivery! We're in Wilkes County, NC. These are a fantastic holiday treat! They can be made with duck and chicken eggs, the fresher the better! For the freshest eggs, reach out to us about our egg laying ducks so you can have your very own fresh eggs by this fall! The key for a recipe like this, is you want majority of your ingredients (including milk and eggs) to be room temp before starting.
