They are growing so fast.

Changes to M & K Ranch. This past June was a hard time here on the ranch. The oldest member, went home to heaven. We sold the pigs, so that they could have a much better life on greener pastures, as we truly didn't have enough room for them. They are missed for sure, but we did what was best for them.
We are now focusing on moving into dairy cows, for milk, butter, cream, etc. We are raising chickens for eggs and in the spring we will venture into chickens and turkeys for meat.

Frugal tip: I love frothy frozen coffee drinks but can't bring myself to pay $5 a glass 😳

Plus, I live in the country so it would cost me another $5 in gas just to get there. So instead I'll drink my own on my back deck while enjoying a view of the garden 🤗

Step 1: make coffee. Drink it.

Step 2: realize you made too much.

Step 3: Instead of pouring the leftovers down the drain pour into into ice cube trays and freeze.

Step 4: toss frozen coffee into blender and add milk, chocolate milk or cream and sweeten with maple syrup (or your choice of sweetener) and let 'er rip!

Step 5: enjoy for pennies a glass!

Feel free to switch it up by adding any of the following: cocoa powder, peppermint extract, vanilla, Baileys... Enjoy!!!
