Yesterday I spent the day on Capitol Hill talking about the state of stomach cancer in our country.

If I had to give a “State of the Union,” it would be this: progress is happening, but not fast enough.

We talked about the rise in diagnoses among younger adults. We talked about the urgent need for earlier detection, stronger research funding, and better access to genetic testing. We highlighted H. pylori as a major risk factor and the importance of testing and eradication. We also specifically asked that stomach cancer remain on the list for the Department of Defense Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program so critical research dollars continue to flow.

There is momentum. Immunotherapy approvals. Growing awareness. Researchers pushing boundaries. Advocates refusing to stay quiet.

But stomach cancer is still underfunded and under-recognized compared to its impact.

Being on the Hill is a reminder that policy matters. Funding matters. Stories matter. When patients and survivors show up, it changes the room.

I am proud to stand for families affected by this disease. I will keep showing up until early detection is the norm, not the exception.

This is a call to action.

What started as an idea became a real brand on shelves, in homes, at markets, in stadiums, and across state lines. I built something from scratch. I learned more than I ever imagined. I met extraordinary people. I had adventures I will carry with me forever.

None of that disappears. It comes with me.

To everyone who has reached out to check on me, thank you. Your messages meant more than you know. I cannot wait to catch up once this chapter officially closes.

For the past two years I have also been working full time, and that is not changing. I am enjoying it and looking forward to focusing on one job while I decide what is next.

This is not a loss. It is a transition. And I am deeply grateful.

What started after my total gastrectomy as a way to nourish my own body turned into something so much bigger. You helped build this. Every order, every share, every kind message mattered.

We are selling all remaining inventory on our website until it is completely gone. There will be no restocks. When a flavor sells out, that is truly the last batch.
