We ARE CLOSED… for the season.
Given the circumstances, we feel it is in our best interest to close down for the season.
Life happens and small businesses must pivot but most importantly not lose fact that time is precious.
So forgive the impromptu announcement but we are doing what is best for this family during this season.
Thank you for your support during this brutal summer and we hope to see you next year!

We’re getting our fields ready for next year’s flower crop, and we need your help clearing them out!

Grounding in the Flower Fields 🌱
Rooting into the ground.
Finding balance.
That was my homework today from after our Reiki sesh.
You see I had a panic attack earlier this week. If you’ve never had one, then it’s difficult to grasp or be empathetic towards. Undoubtedly a message to slow down and notice what my body was trying to tell me.
In go-go of life, the hustle of this world, it’s important to become present.
The flower fields help you do exactly that. ❤️ Presence over performance. Peace over chaos. Joy.

Saving seeds🌱
Not all are equal. Is important to inspect seeds when harvesting zinnias to ensure it’s pollinated or your efforts may be for want.
Pull back the petals and inspect the tip. If it is pale and yellow then leave it for a chance that a pollinator might visit it. If you view a dark seed then it’s pollinated. Bag it with an organza bag to mark it. (The same bag is used by some to protect dahlia blooms from pests.) Once ready to harvest simply cut the bloom off and let it continue to fully dry out if it isn’t already. Zinnias hold a lot of water so we ideally want all the moisture gone before we store. I keep the entire head intact until Spring when I’m ready to plant so I ensure I don’t mix up varieties.

Just a reminder that our new days and hours start next Friday!
We will operate this week Wednesday and Friday BUT transition next week to Friday 1P-7P & Saturdays 11A-7P.
There WILL be exceptions due to private bookings and photography at times. Please have due diligence and check social media to be sure we are in fact open before coming down.
