Trim day! This 2 year old doesnt get tied, doesn’t get drugged..she gets rewarded for standing still. And today I played “kiss” (asked her for kiss, got one, gave treats) to entertain her. Farrier says she is her favorite young horse.

It also helps to have a farrier that is patient with young ones, kind and understands the value of R+. That being said, I can’t recommend Equine Steppes: Hoof Care Services enough. And she does so shoes if you need, including glue on!

Had a nice short trail walk with a buddy today. Lots of mud and she handled it well! Lots of horses too. When she needed to, I let her stand and think about things and process as much as she needed and then when she was ready to move on, we moved on and then we also would work on the touch game and overall, she did really well she didn’t call when any of the other horses were Colleen and it took us a little bit to load in the trailer, but it wasn’t bad considering there were horses everywhere and a lot of them were calling and paste so a little bit maybe like what she would feel at a show. And she was really good!
