May not look like much but at 40 years old this was my first bale of hay cut, raked, and baled with my own equipment. We set out this year with the goal of becoming completely self sufficient; one step closer now. Yep, there were lots of learning lessons, sweat, dirt and issues; but satisfying in the end.

Join us in congratulating our hometown boys who just took home the Championship and are now headed to the World Series!!!!! We are so proud of this team and look forward to cheering them on in Louisiana!!!!!!!!

In efforts to offset their cost they are working hard to raise funds to represent our small town on the big field.

Frick Farms would like to contribute to their cause. We are going to auction 1 Hereford pig to the highest bidder. All proceeds will be donated towards the boys team fundraising efforts. We know it’s not much but hey Farming Feeds.

If you want a closer relationship with God you must seek out nature. (My opinion)

Not to admit that my husband is right 😳but he is. I always think that I have to be present when babies are born to help in case anything goes wrong.
We’ve pulled sheep, cows, goats you name it.

Now witness the Bison and her new baby.
Yes the cuteness is undeniable, however this is Gods perfect design.

You see over time man has intervened, cross bred to breed bigger cows to yield more meat for better profits. In return momma cows have trouble performing their natural birthing process.

We breed for money, cuteness, and qualities that fit the human desire.

Bison birth unassisted, they naturally wean, and to witness this 2000 lb killing machine take her nose and gently nudge her baby so lightly to help her stand up shows that God has a perfect design.

I want every’one to think about what it would look like if we didn’t think we knew best and if we trusted his plan. We’ve made a mess of things but true unadulterated nature still exists, and that’s where you can find me.

Please help us welcome our first bison calf born on our property.

We had an awesome time with the kids from Hatton Elm. Brick Hatton. This is our second time visiting with them and we have had a blast each time.

Don’t Miss the Jr Rodeo next Saturday in Iuka. A lot of work goes into these events that gives our young kids an avenue to compete in a sport they love.
