One of the sweetest transits of the cycle today.

Venus conjunct Jupiter in Cancer. Two benefic planets in the sign of home, nourishment, and care — meeting exactly. This is an overflow moment. Abundance arriving through the domestic sphere, through relationship, through the ordinary acts of tending that you have been showing up for all cycle long.

It does not need to be dramatic. It often shows up as a moment of genuine fullness — a table well-set, a relationship that feels easy and warm, a sense of being held by what you have built.

Five weeks old. Already doing the thing the Kunekune cross is known for — heads down, working the ground, completely content.

This is not fast pork. We say that often because it matters. These animals are 75% Gloucestershire Old Spots and 25% Kunekune, and every part of that cross is designed to grow slowly into something worth eating. The marbling comes from the patience. You can't rush it and get the same result.

Barbie's litter — four boys, three girls — is settled into the nursery pen now. They made themselves at home immediately, which is exactly what Barbie's kids do.

Pork shares from this litter are available by waitlist only right now. We're collecting names, not deposits, while we finalize pricing and processing details. If you want real pork from an animal raised with that kind of intention, this is how you get on the list.

She doesn't have a name here yet.

But she's working on that.

This little one came to us off a boat at about a week or two old — one of five kittens rescued together after their mom disappeared. She's one of the smaller three, and she has spent the past several weeks quietly but very deliberately making her case to stay.

We're not saying who she's been working on. We're just saying she hasn't stopped. And she's very convincing.

No name. No verdict yet. But she's got time, and she knows it.

We skipped Sage in the last round of updates. This is her face about it.

Sage and her sister Smudge came to us at about one to two weeks old — rescued off a boat after their mom abandoned them. We hand-raised them both from there.

Sage is staying here. She decided that early and hasn't reconsidered once.

Smudge — a gorgeous tortoiseshell — is still looking for her person. She's sweet, soft, and has been handled by human hands since the first days of her life. She deserves an indoor home that matches what she's known.

If Smudge sounds like yours, reach out. She won't be here much longer.

Seven piglets just moved into the nursery pen — and they are not shy about it.

This is Barbie's litter. Born April 20th. Four boys, three girls. They nursed well, grew steadily, and the moment they got to the nursery pen they got to work.

Barbie is our Evermore Farmhouse sow — 50% Old Spots, 50% Kunekune — which makes these piglets 75% GOS and 25% Kunekune. The Kunekune influence is the reason they graze rather than root, the reason they move through a space without tearing it apart, and the reason the pork they'll eventually produce is some of the most deeply marbled, richly flavored we raise here.

Seven spotted, spotted-er, and spottedest pigs discovering that the nursery has better feed access than the farrowing pen.

They seem pleased.
