Upcoming exhibition! “Forged Imagination: A Journey in Metalsmithing and Steampunk Art” by renowned local artist Nilanjan Bhowmik.

Bhowmik is a multimedia artist and metal smith based in Chester County whose work explores the intersections of industrial nostalgia, imagination, and contemporary craftsmanship. His practice embraces the steampunk aesthetic, transforming salvaged mechanical components and everyday objects into intricate works that invite curiosity.

Many of the recurring materials you’ll find in Bhowmik’s work are silver, brass, copper, watch parts, keys, and gears. He combines traditional metalsmith techniques with imaginative storytelling.

Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, September 5th from 5pm to 8pm! BYOB, potluck-style (bring food or snack to share if you want to!)

Edna Santiago, with roots from New York City and Puerto Rico, creates emotionally-rich art that deals largely with her own emotional transformation after her experience as a mother. Santiago explains how she took her first step into being a creative through galleries and museums.

Every exhibit at LVF includes an artist talk during the midshow reception — a chance to hear the work in the artist’s own words, in the room where it lives.

Talk about “standing room only”! Our “Women’s Voices in Bloom” Open Mic was a transformative and empowering experience 🦋 We want to thank our friends 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 for sharing their stories and encouraging others to do the same 📚

This weekend! Midshow reception at Longview Farm — Saturday, August 1st, 5–8pm in Chester Springs.

From My Eyes to Yours, the current exhibition by Edna Santiago, is on view through the end of August, and we’re opening the barn for an evening with the artist. Come meet Edna, hear her talk about the work, and stay for live music.

A few things to know:
→ Artist talk with Edna Santiago
→ Live music jazz pianist
→ Potluck-style — bring a dish or snack to share if you’d like
→ Light snacks provided
→ BYOB
→ 5–8pm, rain or shine

Edna is a painter and printmaker whose work moves between mediums the way her practice moves between cities — New York, Puerto Rico, and now Philadelphia. Several pieces in this exhibition have never been shown publicly before.
