It’s that time of year again! Ready for you at tomorrow’s farmers market in Chewelah with lime, raspberry lime, and huckleberry lime tarts (the last of my frozen berries from last year) among a few other treats.

We’re back! The Tartistry Lab (aka me and Chris) are home from our 3 month food pilgrimage around Europe and we’re thrilled to be back for winter. This is our third year spending 2-3 months in Europe and this year we hit Corsica and southern France, Crete, Greece, Cyprus, Armenia, Georgia, and Türkiye. We tried so many desserts that I became obsessed with and want to try making. Here are a few snippets of travel moments but I share much more on my other primary travel account.

Thank you to everyone for a fantastic spring and summer of supporting The Tartistry Lab. I had so much fun growing this little business from an obsession with desserts, being particularly influenced from past travels. I loved attending farmers markets and getting to know local business owners and the community.

My first love has always be travel and having a baking business is not exactly conducive to traveling the way I want to. But long term travel also makes it impossible to run a small, location dependant business. With that said, I have to honor where my heart lies and take seasonal time off from making tarts.

We’ll be spending the next few months in Europe but I hope your craving and love for the delicious little morsels will only grown fonder in their absence. Tartistry Lab will be back in business after Thanksgiving. Feel free to let me know any holiday orders you may have before then! Thanks again for all the love and support. It’s not easy starting a new business but it’s been so much fun.

I’ll be at the Chewelah Farmers Market tomorrow with limited batches of huckleberry, strawberry, coconut lime, strawberry coconut, and lime meringue tarts tomorrow! (pictured without meringue to show color)
Last week I sold out of the huckleberry by 11:10 so get there early if you want them!
