We will be absent from the farmers market for the next two weeks! Just wanted to warn you all before you came looking for your tart and sourdough fix. You can still find tarts at the creamery, Lola’s, and Waterloo Ranch.

We’ve got lime, huckleberry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and peanut butter tarts for this week’s farmers market plus plain sourdough loaves (and 2 huckleberry loaves), maple walnut scones, chocolate chip cookies, and shortbread. I think we’re going to skip next weeks market so stock up tomorrow!

We’re back from a blissful week of camping in the van (and eating all the leftover tarts and baked goods from the prior farmer’s market). What a week it’s been for our region though with so many fires and destruction. 😔 We watched in horror as people were displaced and lost their homes all across Spokane and eastern Washington. I’m deeply grateful for the brave firefighters and first responders 🙏🏼

We will be at the Chewelah farmers market tomorrow with lime and huckleberry tarts, lots of sourdough loaves (both plain and cheddar/jalapeño), “the best chocolate chip cookies ever” (somebody else’s quote, although I concur), maple walnut scones, and coffee. Despite the smoke, wind, and overall miserableness of being outside right now, I hope to see you there!

It’s that time of year again! Ready for you at tomorrow’s farmers market in Chewelah with lime, raspberry lime, and huckleberry lime tarts (the last of my frozen berries from last year) among a few other treats.
