18 floors above downtown Chicago, FARMZER0 is transforming underutilized office space into a productive indoor farm growing microgreens, leafy greens, herbs, and edible flowers year-round.

What if office buildings could be more than workplaces? What if they could become engines of nutrition, food security, and community resilience?

From harvesting and production to a guided tasting experience with our founder and CEO, Russell Steinberg, the visit highlighted our mission to reduce food miles, strengthen local food systems, and bring fresh, nutrient-dense food closer to the communities we serve.
