Peas, beans, and peppers!
We are a small family happily homesteading in Central IL. We grow food and raise poultry with small-
Peas, beans, and peppers!
Peppers and peas and berries! OH MY!
They ate all the peas! Plus a big harvest.
Brambles and broccoli…. because home grown tastes best. 😋
Two weeks of broccoli… and rain.

I’m so egg-cited to share the joy of hatching chicks today! The hens are allowing the second graders at McClearnand Elementary to hatch out a small clutch for our farm! 🥰
So much poo…. Farm update!
Our hens are in full production. The egg store is open again! Only $4 per dozen.

I don’t know if I could choose just one! The colors. The flavors. They’re almost as pretty as a bouquet of wild flowers on the table!

On Saturday, 7/9/22 from 9:00 -11:30 a.m. to go along with u-pick blueberries and blackberries we will also have some rare 4 year old pink lemonade blueberry bushes for sale, along with a few other varieties if interested. Potted plants will be priced $50 - $100 depending on the size and variety.

We grow some things just because they’re lovely. Borage is a bee’s bread and butter. Sure, you could eat it yourself, but why not feed the bees instead?
